Sunshine Coast Sailboards opened its door for business in August 1982. It was the first store selling exclusively sailboards in Queensland. In 1983 Dieter and Gina Fischer took over the business and they still own and run the store up to this date. With their enthusiasm and dedication for the sport they have created a large following of windsurfing in South East Queensland.
The shop caters for all segments of the sport i.e. beginners, intermediates and advanced. Products are in stock for the slalom/freeride enthusiast, the serious racer or the full-on wave sailor. All major brands of boards and other equipment are sold, as well as a huge range of accessories. Services include: trade-ins, lay-by, huge range of used equipment, rentals, lessons and hire at Golden Beach Hire.
Other products: Surf and river skis, surfboards, roof racks(incl. roof cages and roof boxes).
