Made of EVA foam, it is a very light yet strong protection. It is easy to handle as it is simply glued onto the nose.

For less experienced sailors we recommend the use of a nose protector. It covers the rail and all areas mostly endangered by impacts, making this section incredibly durable and impact resistant. The nose area remains un-effected by hits from the mast or the boom. And when fixed with silicon (the standard procedure) the sailor has the option to remove it, once he feels like not needing it anymore.

JP-Australia recommends the use of a nose protector for novices and those, who want to protect their board's nose.

HOW TO MOUNT THE GLASSFIBRE NOSE PROTECTOR:

• clean area around the nose, make it fat-free

• put some SILICON on the INSIDE AREA. Best to mainly place the silicon in those areas (especially rails) where it has no contact to the non-slip of the board, which makes it easier to clean the board when taking off the protector

• slide the protector over the board nose

• add silicon on the edge of the nose protector
